All of the rooms and suites have an awesome view of the lake and mountain. The suites and rooms include whirlpools for two, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, satellite TVs, VCRs, hair dryers, bathrobes and fireplaces. Guests will find row boats, paddle boats and canoes to use in the lake. An in-ground swimming pool and several gazebos can be found on the property. Scenic Overlook B&B specializes in romantic getaways for couples including a full breakfast that can be served in the guests’ room or on the deck if the weather permits. Three suites and two rooms are available.
Rates are $129-169 per night. Most major credit cards are accepted. Check-in is 3 p.m. Check-out is 11 a.m. Reservations are required. Directions: Hwy. 52 to the Pilot Mountain State Park Exit. In this home of over 9,000 square feet,
our suites are large with
whirlpool tubs for two and gas burning fireplaces;
most featuring hand carved mahogany mantles and all with nine-foot
ceilings. All of our rooms and suites feature refrigerators,
microwaves, coffee makers, TV, vcrs, dvds, wireless internet, phone,
hair dryers, CD & Cassette. A
breakfast
will be found in your refrigerator for you to eat in your room or on
the deck at your chosen time. Either location provides a front row seat
to the spectacular view.
Each room is decorated in its own individual style,
which range from Victorian to Traditional and 18th century furnishings.
You will find, mostly hand carved mahogany furnishings, some featuring
romantic canopy beds. All beds are queen size.
Paddleboat, rowboats & a canoe are
available for romancing sunning or fishing (catch & release only)
or just plain relaxing. There are three gazebos available for
picnicking next to the 10 acre lake. We also have an in ground swimming pool.

with breathtaking sunrises & sunsets, a beautiful lake &

Horse Boarding is $50 per night, next
to State trail connecting Pilot Mountain State Park, Hanging Rock State
Park, and the State Park River section.
