Fans of television actor, Andy Griffith, can stay in the Mount Airy home where he lived during his adolescence until his high school graduation.

York bought the property for $86,900 during an auction sale held in the fall of 1998. He sold the house to the owners of the Mount Airy Hampton Inn for an undisclosed amount.
